ADC – Architects Design Consortium

ARCHITECTS DESIGN CONSORTIUM, INC. (ADC) is a full service architectural firm specializing in restaurant and hospitality work. The President, Craig D. Oka, AIA, is thoroughly experienced in all aspects of the profession, including programming, architectural design, design development, construction documents, bid administration, and construction administration. He is involved on a day-to-day basis, and personally oversees each project within the office.

ADC, established in 1991 by Architects Craig D. Oka and Steven C. Prothero, continues the practice of retired Architect Jim E. Shimozono, AIA. Prior to the formation of ADC both Mr. Oka (1981-1991) and Mr. Prothero (1983-1991) were key associates in Mr. Shimozono’s firm. Under his guidance both accumulated a wealth of experience and knowledge in all aspects of the practice. Mr. Prothero and Mr. Shimozono, now retired, continue to remain associated with ADC in a role of assisting with new business development and with the transition of past clients. Both continue to share office space with the firm.

ADC provides their clients with in-house computer aided design, drafting and plotting services and maintains $1,000,000.00 in professional practice insurance.

ADC strives to provide innovative and well developed design solutions within the Client’s time constraints and monetary means. Accurate, concise, and well coordinated construction documents are a standard for every project, regardless of the project type, size, time or budget available. Service and attention to detail are always a priority.
